Got a call from my landlord at 7:30 Christmas morning to come check my shop and make sure everything was ok, due to a major fire in the building across from me.
Thankful that all is well with my shop, but the other building is a wreck. 8 units destroyed, five businesses totally gone.

Man, I hate seeing that. I'm glad you're stuff is ok, though.

Holy Crap! Hopefully no one was injured in the fire.
Being part owner of our family business it makes me sick thinking about that happening to one of our yards.

No one was injured. Shop where it started was a concrete pumping company. they lost three pump boom trucks and a dozen support vehicles.

That's great that no one was injured in the fire equipment and inventory can be replaced. But knowing what those concrete pumpers are worth the owner has got to be sick at the loss of the equipment and down time.
I could probably retire at 41 with the combined total of the three totaled concrete pumpers in that fire.

Glad to hear no one was hurt! That is going to make for a crappy Christmas for some.
Glad to hear you're unit and more importantly what's inside it, is okay.
