So I took my seat covers off to wash the. And realized my seats haven't been touched in at least 2 years. Here is how they looked when I pulled the covers off.

Impressive. Especially for 10 years old.

Nice Channel Lock brand pliers in the console. :redneck:
- It is their handle color, might not be that brand.
You should look into new seat bottom foam.
For 80.00 ( ~ 55 for the foam and ~25 for the element ) it will be like brand new and help with the outside creases getting worse in the leather.
Might even help with the resale, if you ever get to that point.
- I change mine about every 24 months; like a new truck when I change the foam.
A new brake pedal pad also works wonders for pedal feel, and they are cheap.
- I'm on my 3rd one in 10 years / 130K miles.

Ok, am I the only one who noticed the, um, interesting cheek print pattern? :wow:

I did not until you mentioned it. Looks like someone needs a bit less texmex in their diet :funny:

That's a good ideas, I may replace the foam on the Edge as it's getting a little soft.

How big of a deal is it to replace the foam on heated and cooled seats?
Anyone know?

Slightly harder than heated only seats, if you are talking Ford.
Make sure to purchase the correct foam for heated & Cooled ( vs heated only ).
- These pads are more expensive vs what JP & I have.
Next order the heating pad for the bottom cushion.
You have more connectors to disconnect and the seat assy will be heavier with the ducts and blower fan in it and the fun of the ducts themselves ( more so when installing ) to remove from the truck.
You will have more to dig through to get to the bottom to remove the cover.
- mine is dirt easy to unbolt the pan to get to the hog rings to remove the seat cover.
Tasca's part site can list vin specific parts. Ford it is BODY > FRONT SEAT COMPONENTS.
You are looking for SEAT CUSHION PAD, LEFT ( #12 ) and SEAT CUSHION HTR ( #13 )

Yeah sorry guys....those are actually the heating elements in the seat heaters that are somewhat pressed up. They have been visiable since I bought the truck in 07. That ain't all ass sweat from the ranch. LOL or FOOD.

Thanks Tom, the rear seats are like showroom. Soft and supple and much darker than the fronts.

Good to know the real leather can stand up to all that Texmex! :nana:
