Title: New LED lighting for camper
Post by: Rollingrock on October 02, 2015, 11:48:10 AM
Here is a quick look at the new warm white LED.  Much brighter than incandescent and fraction of power and now heat.   Momma didn't like the true white LED ' in had in there.

My wife is the same way, she really dislikes the "blueish" temp range.

I had to swap out some LED bulbs I bought for the basement as they were to blue for her.

Women...good grief.. :dope:

I don't think I'd care for the pure white look either.  I just wouldn't care enough to chsnge it either.   Haha.

Depending on what you are looking for :

GE is white ( not blue ) and puts out the light in this model range.

If you want LED and stick with the more traditional incandescent soft white, the Phillips do a good job

Garage has a mix of GE & Phillips in it for the stumble lights
- Stumble, there are 4 lights on that circuit. :redneck:

Harold, I went with these.   They fit very, very tight, I had to bend the contacts in a little.

For the light over the dinette I went with these:

Hope to field test them soon but with our daughter in a new play, we cannot camp until after Thanksgiving.
